The Boston Junior Bandits are proud to announce their selections from the 1st annual USPHL NCDC Futures draft. The Bandits philosophy in the inaugural draft was to choose the most talented players looking to make NCAA D1 schools a priority. The selections include University of Maine commit Lynden Breen, an exciting forward from New Hampton Prep, who constantly creates chances while on the ice. Draft Choice Ethan Phillips is a highly skilled forward with a high hockey I.Q. from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Ethan is slated to attend perennial NCAA powerhouse Quinnipiac College.  The only 2002 born player selected by the Bandits is New Brunswick born forward Josh Lawrence. Josh possesses an elite skill set and currently plays at Selects Academy in Connecticut. The Bandits selected a crafty forward from Virginia with big offensive numbers with the Washington Little Caps - Reid Leibold will be a great fit as a future Bandit. The Bandits also selected two defensemen in the draft. Moe Acee is a puck moving defenseman, playing with the U18 CP Dynamo club. While Connor Guyette is a smooth and steady defender currently playing at Tabor Academy.

Senior Hockey Advisor Doug Shepherd states, "We were very pleased to have landed Breen and Phillips, who have already secured their D1 commits, and we also look forward to watching Leibold, Acee, Larwence and Guyette develop and procure their own NCAA scholarships.”
