The Boston Bandits are proud to announce the addition of former Maryland Head Coach Jim Guadet to their professional coaching staff. In addition to his role as the organization's Strength and Conditioning Coach, Gaudet will serve as the NCDC Assistant Coach.

Jim has five seasons of coaching experience at the ACHA college level. He was the Head Coach at the University of Maryland for three seasons and, prior to that, the Associate Coach at the United States Naval Academy. Jim also has two years of experience as a Strength and Conditioning Coach, Skating and Skills Coach, and Director of Hockey Operations at First Line Training Center in Rockville, MD.

"Following Joey's departure to UConn we were looking for someone who aligned with our philosophy of dedication, discipline and development," commented Bandits owner Ben Ewing. "After meeting with Jim and discussing his role with the Bandits, we had no doubt that Jim would be a great addition to our organization," added Ewing.

Prior to coaching, Jim played NCAA ice hockey at Dartmouth College and served as the team’s Assistant Captain his senior year. Jim's brother Joe also attended Dartmouth and both boys were coached by their father Bob. It is safe to say that hockey is in the Gaudet's blood.

Jim is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), a Certified Functional Strength Coach (CFSC) through Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning, and a Certified FMS Specialist through Functional Movement Systems.
